Our Story

Materials and objects are not taught. They are shared.

1300g exists to make sure that sharing happens deliberately, inside the architecture and design community, with the people whose recommendations move markets.

Founded by N. Levi Lewis, 1300g is a brand strategy and market entry practice working with design-led companies at the moment they need to be understood in a new room. Levi trained in industrial design at Art Center College of Design and built his career across luxury material brands, A&D sales strategy, exhibition design, and editorial. That range is the practice.

The work is defined by restraint, cultural fluency, and a refusal to let strong work go unrecognized because of how it was introduced.

What began as a discipline became a practice. The intention was always the same: find the work that deserves to be in the right rooms, and make sure it gets there.

That has not changed. The rooms have only gotten more specific.

SERVICES

MARKET ENTRY

We open the Americas to brands that have never needed to explain themselves before.

Imagine a third-generation tile maker from the Alentejo walking into a materials library in Pasadena and being immediately understood.

CHANNEL STRATEGY

We build relationships inside the A&D community that outlast any campaign.

Picture your product on the desk of the architect who just won the AIA award, not because they saw an ad but because someone they trust handed it to them.

EDITORIAL POSITIONING

We place brands inside the cultural conversations architects and designers are already having.

See your material in the pages of the publication that the right hundred people read before anyone else does.

BRAND TRANSLATION

We find the language your brand has never had to speak.

Imagine sitting across from a design director in Mexico City who leans forward because what you make is suddenly exactly what they have been trying to describe for three years.
