1. What is the Meoded Specifier Concierge™ service?
It is a complimentary technical support service that assists architects and designers with:
• Reviewing finish plans and elevations
• Providing square footage take-offs
• Estimating material quantities
• Selecting the correct Meoded finish system
• Providing application and substrate notes
• Coordinating samples and tracking
This service helps streamline the specification process and reduces the time you spend calculating coverage or navigating product performance requirements.
2. Is the service really free?
Yes. The Specifier Concierge™ is a value-added service available at no additional cost to the trade.
There is no obligation to purchase; our goal is to support accurate, confident specification.
3. What do I need to provide to get started?
You can register your project and upload drawing files directly through our Project Registration Portal
If you prefer to email your drawings, send them to:
levi@meodedpaint.com
For the fastest turnaround, please include:
• Project name and sidemark
• Floor plans and elevations
• RCPs (if ceilings are included)
• Finish schedule
• Notes on colors or systems of interest
• Timeline or deadline
• Shipping address if samples are needed
4. What format should the drawings be in?
PDFs and corresponding AutoCAD (.dwg) files are preferred. We also accept DWG or Revit exports if needed, but including PDFs typically lead to the fastest turnaround.
5. What kinds of surfaces can Meoded assist with?
We support:
• Interior walls
• Ceilings
• Accent walls
• Bathrooms
• Showers (with Concretta FS)
• Exterior façades (project-dependent)
• Concrete-effect surfaces
• Venetian plaster systems
• Limewash and mineral finishes
If you're unsure whether a finish is appropriate for your substrate, we can advise.
6. How long does a take-off or quantity estimate take?
Typical turnaround:
• Standard projects: 48–72 hours
• Rush requests: 24 hours
• Large commercial/hospitality: case-by-case
We’ll confirm your timeline at intake.
7. Does Meoded provide installation services?
No.
Meoded does not provide installation or contractor labor, but we can offer:
• General application notes
• Substrate preparation guidelines
• System-specific technical requirements
• Guidance on what installers should know
We do not provide labor estimates or contractor guarantees.
8. Can you help choose the right Meoded product for my project?
Absolutely.
We frequently advise on:
• Lime wash vs. glaze vs. plaster
• Venetian gloss vs. matte finishes
• Waterproofing and shower systems (Concretta FS)
• Exterior-safe mineral plasters
• Color considerations and sample strategy
We can also help clarify differences between products if you’re deciding between multiple systems.
9. How do sample requests work?
We provide color charts, sample jars, and sample boards.
If you need a color match, we will ask you to mail your physical swatch to:
Meoded Paint & Plaster
Attn: Sample Department – Kelan
6314 Santa Monica Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90038
Tracking is required for all incoming and outgoing samples.
10. Can Meoded do custom color matching?
Yes.
We are able to match most sample swatches, fabric cuttings, paint chips, and physical material references.
Turnaround depends on complexity, but we communicate timelines upfront.
11. What is included in the Specifier Concierge deliverable?
Each Concierge Packet typically includes:
• Surface take-off summary
• Quantity estimate table
• Recommended product schedule
• Application + substrate notes
• PDF markups of drawings (if needed)
• Sample confirmation + tracking
The goal is to provide all the information you need to specify confidently and keep your project moving.
12. Can Meoded coordinate directly with contractors?
We can answer product-related questions for contractors, but we cannot:
• Replace the contractor’s own take-offs
• Provide installation approvals
• Offer sequencing outside product application
• Mediate contractor disputes
Our role is to support the design intent and ensure the correct system is specified.
13. Do I need to use the calculated quantities exactly?
Contractors always take precedence.
Our quantities are conservative estimates intended to help with early-phase planning and specification.
Contractors should always verify on site.
14. How do I ask follow-up questions?
Email:
levi@meodedpaint.com
We are here to support you through design development, samples, and project execution.
15. Can Meoded provide guidance on substrate preparation?
Yes.
We provide:
• Correct primer recommendations
• Substrate conditions required for each finish
• Moisture-sensitive instructions for wet areas
• Notes for previously painted or problematic surfaces
• Information on leveling or smoothing layers
Substrate prep is crucial to finish performance, and we will always flag risks proactively.
16. What happens if my drawings change after you complete the take-off?
Just send us the revised drawings.
We can update the take-off efficiently using the project’s existing file set.
17. Can Meoded attend jobsite visits?
Jobsite visits are considered on a case-by-case basis and typically reserved for complex hospitality, multifamily, or specialty residential projects.
Requests are evaluated based on:
• Scope
• Timeline
• Geographic location
• Technical requirements
Reach out, and we’ll assess feasibility.
